Pesterchum Will Not Open

I'd appreciate any given help with this. I'm not a computer whizz but I'll try my best to follow simple step-by-step instructions. Anyways, here is my issue.

I installed Pesterchum months ago and after having some irritating issues where it logged me out and wouldnt let be sign in as my chumhandle, I figured I would uninstall and reinstall it to fix the problem. Lo and behold, after installing it a second time, it would not open. I am really disappointed and am asking for someone to give me clear instructions how to fix this. I've read other similar issues but the whole debugging thing seems a little complicated

i can't open pesterchum i installed it but i clicked open and it didn't all it did was load and send me back to the thing that said open,save or cancel and it won't open and i want it to ~ scincerly starshadowdance
