this plugin prevents "Load more older events"

At the top of my Log events list, Cloudwatch displays There are older events to load. [Load more.]

when clicking on [Load more.] i see the timestamps change to older timestamps (as should happen, since they get prepended at the top of the list), but the actual content of the logs stays the same (as in: i don't see older data, and thus the timestamps of a log and its data don't match anymore either).

It seems like this extension is preventing the updated data from showing.

to be clear: when i enable auto retry to append new events to the bottom of the list, this plugin does work there
