How do I read .hea files in MATLAB?

I have downloaded the PTB Diagnostic ECG Database and the WFDB Toolbox for MATLAB. I am able to read the signal with rdsamp, but I cannot figure out how to read the .hea files to know which files belong to which diagnostic class. May you help guide me in how to read the .hea files?
