wfdb2mat.m files corrupt

I have been successfully using the MATLAB toolbox for Physionet during the past few weeks. However, I have been unable to access the .mat files generated by the wfdb2mat.m script. The script executes successfully, creating a .mat file and .hea file. However, when I try to open the *.mat file with rdmat.m, MATLAB produces returns the following error:

Unable to read MAT-file C:\MATLAB\MIMIC_WFDB_Workspace\database\mimic3wdb\matched\p00\p000107\p000107-2122-05-14-21-01m.mat. File might be corrupt.

I've tried running the script from various directories on various records with no success. In addition, I can not open the file manually. Any insight would be tremendously helpful.

I'm having the same issue, and actually with the same files it seems (the larger matched waveform files). Did you ever figure out a fix? The data can still be read by rdsamp, but it crashes MATLAB if you try to load or open with rdmat.

Fixed. Message me if you need a copy of the script to resolve this issue.
