No camera response

When I run the camera_main.py demo and connect it to my homekit I only see the image in the preview... as soon as I click on it, it states "no response" is this just a limitation or some bad code? I've been playing around with this but can seem to make it work, also can't find any documentation about this nor examples. Any ideas?

Also, bonus question for if I get the camera to work, is it possible to link a camera to the doorbell accessory?
