Hi, your picam looks very nice.

Do you think it would be possible to change easly the input? Idea is not to use the Camera, using tvheadend would be nice (you can get mpegts direct from tvheadend)

Recode with Rpi hardware and stream via HLS like you do.

That is technically possible. Although I have no plans to add such feature for now, I welcome someone who does it.

or to use v4l2loopback video device

Sorry to necro but I'd also be interested in changing the input to a v4l2loopback device to be able to run motion detection on another virtual device. How would one implement this?
