Local Android mouse cursor is not hidden

Open librehat opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

When connected with an external mouse device, the Android cursor is shown within the remote desktop area in bVNC.

It seems that Android has introduced a new API in 7.0 to capture the cursor and it's possible to therefore hide it. (Probably that's how Microsoft RDP client does on Android).

Yes, please, could you implement this. I'm using bVNC Pro in Samsung DeX, and it was really good if developer implement this. In app Remote Desktop for android from Microsoft it's already implemented this.

+1 on this please

Even when manually starting a vnc and having bVNC set up to implicitly hide it for that connection, the cursor remains shown. Not jumping the gun here, but it'S probaby some trivial fix?

See below for current set of option on connection (localhost, no compression, hidden cursor)

N.B.: none of the cursor settings seem to have any effect on the one that is overlayed by android.
