Github for education
Not sure if it's already mentioned.
You get a whole lot of stuff with the github for education pack if you have a .edu email address with yourself
Some of the notable things being
- Amazon AWS: $15 in bonus Amazon AWS credits for a total of $50-$115
- DigitalOcean: $50 in platform credit for new users
- DNSimple: Personal hosted DNS plan (normally $5/month) for two years
- Github: Micro account for free which costs around $7/month normally
- Hackhands: programming help 24/7, $25 in platform credit
- namecheap.com: A free .me domain
And many more!
Here's the link again if anybody missed it https://education.github.com/
Cheers!
Edit: Register with your college mail ID provided. The verification period does take some time so don't get too worried :smile:
@prodicus Thank you for your contribution. Just to add to what you have said, you don't always need a .edu
address. Lots of students from our college have successfully availed Github Education pack without that.
@aviaryan Wasn't aware of that.
Let's keep all issues opened so that anyone who comes here later can see what they missed.

I have a question. In DigitalOcean or AWS, it requires a promo code. I got the GitHub education pack but didn't get the promo codes! Where I can find those?
You will find it here: https://education.github.com/pack/offers For more info, you can contact our Campus Expert: @anshumanv
