Help troubleshoot hostapd connection problem
- laptop connects to iiab hotspot on rpi W2 with updown true and latest raspios and latest iiab from repo
- gets ip in 10.10.10.x
- with nmcli connects wlan0 to upstream router - no problem
- disconnects using nmcli con delete
- intermittent problem that can no longer ssh to box.lan or 10.10.10.10 nor access in browser
- says box.lan is unknown host
- disconnect laptop from iiab hotspot and reconnect
- laptop has correct ip
- access problem recurs
- power cycling fixes problem
can this be a resolver problem, but why is 10.10.10.10 not found? hostapd seems to be running any ideas?
We've seen weird DNS problems that were eventually side-effects of other problems. Reading this ticket reminded me of it. Not sure it will help at all but the ticket is at https://github.com/offspot/container-images/issues/43
Given that this will only be used occasionally, I think the best option is just to automatically reboot.
