Image Hover Malfunction

The expand image on mouseover function seems to have stopped working properly a couple of days ago. I'm not sure what's going on under the hood, but it seems to be timing out in the middle of decoding-- the results are heavily distorted at best, they get stuck in the cache, so there's no clear way to force it to reload when it happens.

I think Firefox Aurora updated to version 35 at around the same time, so this may be the result of some new browser behavior.
