Maybe this is something caused by installing games repeatedly to the same system without factory reset. I get this error when running the finalize 3dsx.

I've gotten it from both master branch, and the rewrite branch. You said you updated the finalize app after the last posted built one, so I built from source, and get the same behavior. Any titles that would have been finalized after the error don't show up. Installing them again with the script fixed it for those titles. It doesn't seem to be a set amount of titles it gets through before throwing the error. I'll try a few more times and see if it's the same titles.

This is complicated by the finalizing app deleting the cifinish bin now. Maybe move the deletion to the finish, after a successful run?

I think I tracked it down: n3ds only title on older model. I'll give it a few more tries to confirm.

I'm stumped. I can't replicate now. Using a o3ds and o3dsxl, install up to 180gb of cias no issue now. factory reset, no factory reset (just deleting Nintendo 3ds folder), even able to install a n3ds title. (obviously can't open those)

Try installing after deleting the ticket for 0004000000035700.
