The status icons remain black in dark mode

This seems to be an issue with the transperancy. If you check "reduce transparency" under Accessability then the issue goes away. Also, if you enable Dark mode, or Lite Mode, there is no issue. It's only with Auto mode. At least on my setup, macOS 12.3.1
