Id switches when object is not detected for a frame then returns

I am facing an issue when using ByteTrack. Whenever a certain object goes out of frame or is not detect in a previous frame (due to being covered by another object temporarily), it gets assigned a new id. Does using a REID model help or is there something I can do without a REID model to solve it.
