Disk verification failed after burning xz compressed image

Describe the bug

I have tried many times to burn xz compressed ubuntu images, and always got Disk verification failed if I burn the xz compressed file, but with the same disk and image, burning a manually uncompressed image always passes the verification step.

  • Terminal emulator: gnome-console
  • OS: Arch Linux
  • Version: 0.4.7
  • Distribution channel: distribution package
