Import end2end archives

I am working on an old task that got left behind, importing archives for end2end-interest. The archives were downloaded from here, https://www.postel.org/pipermail/end2end-interest/. It appears nearly all of the gzipped files have messages with essentially the same Date header, Thu Mar 25 11:59:54 2004. Is it possible there is better data out there somewhere? The message envelope lines in these files do look more realistic, so they could potentially be used to adjust the Date headers.
