Performance is really bad on version 1.0.34

Open brianvallred opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

I just updated to version 1.0.34 from a previous version, and it made IntelliJ unusable for editing. There is a two-second lag between every key I type before it is displayed in the editor. I tried switching between having the ESLint plugin enabled and disabled (I restart IntelliJ in beween) and the ESLint plugin is definitely the culprit. I find it useful to have the ESLint highlighting, but I will leave it disabled until a new version is available.

I am on Windows 10, and I had just updated to IntelliJ version 2016.2 when I had the problem. A lot of the problem may have been the newer version of IntelliJ, because I was getting a lot of other problems. I have now gone back to IntelliJ version 2016.1.3, and things are running much better. So I apologize for putting the full blame on the es-lint plugin.
