Simplified API that can be used with single page web apps
Our current API is not well-documented or widely used. We need to make it easier to:
- discover API endpoints and understand how to use them
- use APIs in front-end web apps (eg using React)

I've got strong views on the apis, which is actually informed by my day job. More to come, but biggest blocker is funding to do this
I've got strong opinions on this too. Happy to write them, but we should probably touch base on the design spec or set them out here somewhere.
We should totally have a catch up and maybe a planning session. We've both been busy, so a general catch up too would... be very nice.

We should probably have that API chat - my day job is all apis all the time right now, and there's some architecture stuff that would be pretty cool to look at (although maybe not so useful to self hosted folks). We'll probably be releasing a lot of what we've been building open source though, so it could be nice to wire in hooks for that.
