Docs sidebar is horrible

While trying to do this:

Navigate round the docs

I encountered this error:

Since the recent changes to get docs.withknown.com working again the sidebar is horrible. I suggest reverting the recent .yml changes to bring back the sensible navigation while working out what went wrong with docs.withknown.com

Give us some context:

• It'd also be really handy if you could tell us the contents of your version.known file
• What database are you using? (e.g. mongo, mysql, postgres)
• Any warnings or errors in you admin/diagnostics page?
• Bonus points - are you able to illustrate the issue with a unit test? If so, submit it as a pull request!

The old-fashioned yml file was breaking the build entirely - so it needs to be rewritten. I'll work on it.
