[question,feature] support for searching highlights and bookmarks

Is it possible to search for highlights and bookmarks through recoll as you do here? Does this extension support it?

I don't know what a highlights and bookmarks means in content of calibre.

screen It looks like the above. there is a search functionality for highlights and their associated notes within calibre. Highlights and bookmarks can also be exported. I was hoping I can search through highlights and their associated notes (and hopefully bookmarks by name) using a centralized recoll index.

I'm not sure, but I think it's possible. It will require a special configuration of the recoll. More specific: You need some filter (program) that extracts the content of a highlights and bookmarks from epub file and puts it to the fields. After that you can use this plugin to search for a book containing a specific bookmark.
