HTTPS URLs don't work

Hi,

first of all, thank you for your plugin :) I'm trying to use it on my personal blog but seems it doesn't work for any HTTPS urls. HTTP version of the same URL is ok. No errors on error log.

I use PHP 7 over nginx with PHP-fpm.

Any idea about the problem?

Please provide one or more example URL:s for us to check.
