Readonly is overwritten when pasted into

readOnly means I can't enter edit mode for a cell, but I can paste content into it and overwrite the value of the cell.

What is the behaviour of Google Sheets for such a scenario?

When you create a protected range in Google Sheets (effectively the same as a read-only cell) it's truly not editable. Same for Excel. readOnly should mean literally read-only. It's even worse because if I accidentally paste the wrong value into it, I can't fix it unless I type the original value into another field and copy-paste that back. 😬

I'm facing the same issue as well and this is a university result list so its a big issue for me

I do have a plan of disabling the particular shortcut somehow on the whole route/page or try some alternative but others are not as good as react spreadsheet is
