Failing test in Griffin devel recipe

The test microreactors/KRUSTY.syntax_check/multiapp_ss_griffin_alone has been failing since #548. At the time, the failure was not reproducible on a local mac and thus seemed unrelated and random. Given that the failure has been consistent, further investigation is warranted.

I used the moose-dev-mpich-x86_64:2025.04.11 container from the latest failure (https://civet.inl.gov/job/2851448/) on rod to try to replicate the failure. So far, I haven't been able to get the test to crash when I run it myself. @GiudGiud, any ideas for further troubleshooting?

it's running out of memory I think. I ve been trying to have more mpi + distributed mesh https://civet.inl.gov/job/2863760/

the true fix for that test would be for Griffin / MOOSE to honor check-input more and avoid memory-intensive work when simply checking inputs
