File upload mechanisms
Hello
There is no 'native' gowut way to upload a document. There are work-arounds that I have thought of, but they are not too elegant. Any chance a native file upload widget might be added?
Thanks, Glen
Any updates on this issue? It is a show stopper for some things I'd like to do. I really like gowut...
I haven't started working on file upload as of yet. If there is popular demand for this, I might.
Please, if anyone else thinks this is very important, leave your comments here so I can prioritize.
It is also a show stopper for me.
Any update on this issue?
Still a show stopper for me. It is the last bit of functionality that stands in the way of this package from supporting all kinds of web applications. I am just one person using, but would send beer money to have this in place! :-) Thanks.
And if I could talk about functionality, I would prefer this exposed a stream of bytes (and original filename) instead of loading the entire upload file into memory...
I still haven't started working on it yet.
Me too, I think it would be a great feature !
My introduction to gwu at the very beginning. I wanted to use it in a small project that needs to display the result of processing the input image. Of course to process an image you must first upload it :)
Me too, I think it would be a great feature ! file browser is usefull and important
