Android Contenteditable Issue

I have added mentions combined with quill editor. This seems to be working really great in all the devices except Android.I have been going through the issues,but none of them seems to be helping me.

In android:

My content: Hi, am testing @mentionname

Expected behavior when I tap backspace: Hi, am testing

But there is some weird behavior happening, the cursor gets its focus randomly and the backspace screws up.

Is there a fix for this, please ?

Same issue happening with me. Also it closes the keyboard when I do backspace.
