BCP 47 language tag not working on android

How do I create strings for the Chinese language that differ in script? Specifically, I was using b+zh+Hans and b+zh+Hant for simplified respectively traditional script of Chinese.

But it does not work with moko. It just generates a values- folder which is not compilable.
