This is really needed so you can keep two windows open and test it from them at the same time.

See.... this is illegal. The proper term is technically "offline mode", but that also disables all servers.

It's only illegal for a person to use it without owning the game. It's not illegal to support it. Even the official launcher supports it (it requires command line arguments IIRC)
