dash-animator breaks dragging windows to other workspaces?

Open Paulie420 opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

I'm on GNOME 42.4 running Dash to Dock for COSMIC. When I turn on Dash to Dock Animator the dock is animated, but when I swipe four fingers up and go into the mode that shows all open windows, and workspaces are at the top of the screen, I cannot drag windows to other workspaces. (When I do, there is no little arrow displayed and dropping a window inside a different workspace shows a closed fist and the window just snaps to its original workspace.) Once I turn off dash-animator, windows move to other workspaces when dropped in one. I do have other extensions installed - is this something you've heard of? I'd really like to use dash-animator. Thx.

I came here to say the same thing.

window just snaps to its original workspace

My basic details:

  • Ubuntu 22.04.01
  • Gnome 42.2
  • Native Ubuntu dash-to-dock fork they use as default

Like @Paulie420, I also have several other extensions installed, so it could be the combo that's causing an issue.

Note: The animated icons container is possibly covering the drop target. (confirmed)

Fixed and pushed at main.
