suggestion : hide translucent icon background and animate window counters with the animation

Hovering over the icons currently just animates the icons.

1. There's a translucent background which shows along with it which looks odd and can be hidden.
2. The window counter icons stay in place even while hovering over the icon and look out of place. Can they be animated with the icon so it doesn't look odd?
   

Sort of how latte-dock does it here


EDIT - Just used Dash2Dock Lite. Though the window counter is not animated properly with Dash To Dock, it seems to be rightly animated with the Dash2Dock Lite extension.
