Bug: show part of the icons when the dash-to-dock hidden

Open paras-zomby opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

first, I drag my cursor down the screen and make dash-to-dock pop up once time, then i put my cursor slowly to the bottom of my screen(at this time my dash-to-dock not pop up), the icons will just show the top half because it get bigger for the animation.

Are you using Cosmic or the Ubuntu dock? Cosmic has intellihide and "pressure sense" which requires you to move the cursor down more before the dock comes up.

Even before the dock popping up, the animation continues.

This was an unintended effect. Which I thought was 😎 and even copied it unto Dash2Dock Lite.

I would probably have a setting to turn this off.

thx for it! I am using original dash-to-dock on Ubuntu22.04, which has Gnome 42. Yeah I turn both the intellihide and "pressure sense" on and enjoy it, but not the animation before it pop up.... I really cannot understand why you think it is cool😂

Besides, after the newest upgrade, the "All Apps" icon turn to black, I think it also needs a setting too (or may be this is just a bug😂?).

"Peek hidden icon" is now a setting at Dash2Dock Lite (development branch).

Hmmm... thank for it, but i'd love to use a lot of original features of Dash2Dock which the lite edition not have... so may be I can expect a solution for the animator users?
