Steps to reproduce: (- Install Aquaria)

  • Uninstall Aquaria using the uninstall script in the Aquaria directory
  • Install Aquaria again
  • Towards the end of the installation the installer tries to create the menu entry for Aquaria. This fails with the following message: "Schwerer Fehler: Konnte Verknüpfung für Desktop-Menü nicht installieren" (~ "Critical error: Couldn't install link for desktop menu."). After confirmation the game will uninstall itself.

The error only seems to occur when the desktop environment was not restarted during uninstallation and installation. Manually executing "xdg-desktop-menu install bit-blot_com-aquaria_1.desktop" from "/usr/local/games/aquaria/.mojosetup" correctly installs the entry.

This was tested on Slackware64 13.0, xdg-desktop-menu 1.0.1 and Gnome 2.26.3.
