Minecraft-like chat log

An idea to save some space. Not removing the current chat log but optionally hiding it. Messages appear bottom left corner of the game. could be shown/hidden when pressing a triangle button in the bottom left corner. The last messages and input box would be closer too, more normal with the input below the log. Could possibly fade out too like in Minecraft but not sure. Optionally maybe. (Random screenshot I found on google)
