Thanks angelsk. This is true. I need to upgrade to use the latest 1.3.x. If you're not bound to using Canvas API, you might want to try https://github.com/kamicane/art. I'll schedule myself to work on getting this 1.3.x ready, but I'm no longer developing moocanvas any further (at least in the foreseeable future).
