Make a new release of this library

Observed behavior (please include a screenshot if possible)

There hasn't been a release of this library since Nov 8, 2017. Also, it looks like the last push to master failed to create a release on Travis. Also, semantic-release could be updated.

Expected behavior

Timely, regular and semi-automated releases of this library that generate pretty github release notes. Also, there's no need to publish to npm.
