Filter pages by publishing date

Hi!

I know this suggestions would add a layer of complexity, and I'm not aware of how to overcome it. However, I guess this could be very useful.

Alongside filtering data by calendar date (which already exists), what if I could filter data by publishing date? As in: “let me see the stats of all the posts published on October”.

Why? To get a better view of fresh content.

My most popular posts are boosted by Google search visitors, and while I'm grateful by them and appreciate the (decreasing) traffic from Google, I'm more interested in serving regular readers, who come to read my latest posts.
