What files are in c:\ees32\Userlib\COOLPROP_EES ?

You did run the installer from http://sourceforge.net/projects/coolprop/files/CoolProp/4.1.2/EES/ right?

Also I have another error now during lunching EES [This equation Does not have equal sign.]

How about uninstalling COOLPROP_EES using windows install/uninstall, delete the files in c:\EES32\Userlib\COOLPROP_EES, and then reinstall COOLPROP_EES?

What version of EES do you use? What operating system? Anything abnormal about your configuration that could be useful? Haven't seen this problem before...

Where should I place the wrappers files?

Ahmedyy avatar Mar 20 '14 16:03 Ahmedyy

I use EES 9.567 on 64-bit Windows 7, are you also on Windows 7? It should just work.

ibell avatar Mar 20 '14 16:03 ibell

Yes I'm using windows 7 also.

I need only to run the installer??? or i have to copy-paste another files !!!

Hoping not wasting your time :)

If you uninstall COOLPROP_EES completely and run the installer, the sample file should work fine. It's not clear to me why that is not the case. Can you confirm for me that when you remove COOLPROP_EES completely, you can start up EES?

I confirm that EES is working after uninstalling COOLPROP_EES completely.

by the way it was working also normally before using COOLPROP_EES.

sorry for wasting your time

I am completely confused why you are having problems now. EES has all sorts of untraceable bugs, it seems to be getting buggier and buggier with each release.

But I know quite a few people using CoolProp with EES without any problems, so I don't understand at all why it doesn't work for you. When you install COOLPROP_EES, does EES load?

Ah I think I know why this doesn't work. You installed EES somewhere else other than c:\ees32, right? I suspect that is the problem. The installer puts the files in c:\ees32, but EES can't find them... Best is to uninstall COOLPROP_EES, then run the new installer from https://sourceforge.net/projects/coolprop/files/CoolProp/Nightly/2014.03.25/ and move the COOLPROP_EES from c:\ees32\Userlib to the Userlib folder of your install.
