Yes, all reference EOS are Helmholtz energy explicit, with temperature and density as independent variables. So too SAFT EoS, etc. Cubics are relatively unique having a natural dependence on pressure....

I'm afraid not. The problem with TH inputs is that multiple solutions are possible for a given set of TH, and communicating the desired solution is difficult. Sounds like EES...
