Timezone issue

Open samuelrterry opened this issue 9 years ago • 2 comments

Hey Ian,

Sorry that this is such a novice question but I really cannot figure out what to do. When I request my locations weather, the result is in terms of my physical timezone. This is frustrating because the forecast only goes out for the rest of the day. So, for instance, I am in Sydney, Australia, but i want to know London's weather. The request will only give me the rest of the day in London up until midnight Sydney (which is 10 hours in front). Any ideas on a solution? I've played around slightly with moment().tz but haven't got anywhere so far.

Sam.

Hi @samuelrterry sorry, have been busy on other projects. Off the top of my head I'm at a loss as to how you'd get around this. Will try out a few things, unless you've found a solution in the mean time?

Haven't figured out anything yet, but i haven't really been focussed on that. moment() is a really cool thing but!

Let me know if you find a solution :) thanks for your time.
