Adding Prefix - Suffix when generating resources

Hello, I was wondering if there's a way to specify a prefix/suffix when I geneare a cloudformation script ... now I'm editing the generated script manually but a build in feature would be great

Hi @advapiIT,

No such feature currently exists, but happy to consider it for the near future. There is currently a few predefined naming conventions in Settings -> Logical ID Strategy, however nothing that features a prefix / suffix.

What would be your preferred options? (e.g. "Custom prefix + long type prefix + optional index suffix")

Thanks for your fast reply Ian! I need to disambiguate from different customers and different environments (For example Customer:Mickey Mouse, Environment : Test, Customer:Goofy : Environment : Prod), since we don't have a Multi Account set we need to add this in order to be able to generate resources (in particular global ones as S3)
