Does this work on shared hosting or only on dedicated?

Sorry, I'm kind of noob designer learning to program. But from your instructions it seems to only work on dedicated host not on shared hosting, correct?

@thedonquixotic worked great for me on shared hosting - just make sure that this script is hosted outside of the domain you're trying to update.

For me, this script is fully hosted on one domain (ddns.myweb.com) and the domain this script is updating (myhome.com) is set up as Dreamhost DNS only (no hosting).
