Instead of setting authentication, let's generate secret public URLs to use in service like Amazon EC2 Container Server
i.e. http://docs.docker.com/registry/spec/api/#on-failure-bad-request
For layers, use Flysystem or Gaufrette to store on S3/Google storage, etc... Database: migrate to mysql/mariadb/postgre ?
The README seem to be written for contributors. Maybe, having documentation on how to use dunkerque as registry could be usefull.
