Expired Entries Not Showing Strikethrough/Red X

When searching with quick search, expired entries are returned in the search results. That's not really an issue, as these entries normally have a strikethrough all fields, and a large red X as the icon for the entry.

However, when returned in the search results of quick search, the entries are displayed without any of these indicators. After double clicking to copy a field to the clipboard, entries are updated with the expected marking for expired entries.

I have the same issue. It is there since the original version. I have "exclude expired" checked, which seems not to work.
