Rmarkdown + LaTeX?

There are markdown previewers, there are LaTeX previewers. I was wondering if this can implement at least some of the stuff rmarkdown can do like code and LaTeX features.

I am using rmarkdown myself with LaTeX code bits such as \tableofcontents. I also use the {r} environment witch allows for code to run.

i know less of rmarkdown so i don't know if it can be support, pr is welcome

I see. I know less than you about this so that pr might never happen. Also this will need pandoc and that will become messy.
