Need Help with Kubernetes Repository Issue During Ubuntu Upgrade

Open hassanhah opened this issue 10 months ago • 0 comments

Hello everyone,

I’m encountering an issue while trying to upgrade my Ubuntu system, and I could really use some assistance in resolving it. Here’s the problem I’m facing:

Issue Description: During the Ubuntu upgrade process, I’m getting an error related to the Kubernetes repository. The error message indicates that the repository doesn’t have a release file, which is preventing the upgrade from proceeding securely.

Steps Taken:

I’ve attempted to update the package lists and perform the upgrade, but the error persists.
I’ve checked the repository configuration and it seems to be correct, but the issue remains unresolved.

Error Message:

vbnet

E: The repository 'https://apt.kubernetes.io kubernetes-xenial Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

Request for Assistance: I’m reaching out to the community for help in resolving this issue. If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has any insights into how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Additional Information:

Ubuntu Version: Ubuntu 23.10

Thank you in advance for your help!
