Cheats for Ultra Moon not working

So I've been spending hours trying to get the cheats for Pokemon UltraMoon to work. I can get the all items cheat to work but pretty much all other ones either don't work or crash/corrupt my game. I'd really like to use the shiny Pokemon cheat and the no outlines one. I feel like such an idiot. If anyone could please help me out that would be really awesome, please and thank you..
