Enhance Mission planing tool
In order to get a better planing option i suggest to add the following 3 items to the WP properties in the mission planing tab:
- Direction in degrees of vector to the WP (editable)
- Distance in meter (or whatever used) to the WP (editable)
- Info Field grayed out: Rate of climb m/s like in OSD (calculated automatic fill)
The idea is, that the first two parameters could be changed manually and the others would correct themself accordingly.
i.e. you could easily create 3 wp's in a precise line at the same length, direction and climb in order to get the smoothest performance when flying avoiding small drawing errors with the mouse. I found when flying longer distance that it's best to set the WP's at about 1.5-2km apart. This works better for me then one 6km leg. hence the split of the straight.
knowing the limits of your plane, you could make sure that you stay within limits for climbs when the info is nicely displayed.
the mission itself is stored the same way as today. i see this only as a configurator change and should not influence the inav code
