Picture sideways in video call

My smartphone model is OPPO Reno3 A. When I start a video call, my picture is rotated sideways (both front and back camera exhibit this behaviour): screenshot

I just downloaded Jitsi Meet from F-Droid to test this, and this problem does not occur.

If you mean the 'auto-rotate' function, the problem seems to occur regardless of whether it is turned on or off.
