Input field gets rather large with larger text

I have medium sized text in Conversations. This makes the input field to visually be two lines thick in height.

I think it would be better if the text would be truncated instead. Something like:

Send OMEMO encrypted mess…

As said elsewhere, these redesigns will not happen before Conversations 3.0 afaik.
