Game freezes after ad opens
After an ad opens, my screen sometimes freezes. I can still access the settings, but the rom screen itself is stuck. It’s especially annoying when I haven’t saved in a while.
- Device: iPad Air 2
- OS: IOS 11.3.1
- Version: 1.8.1
The latest version is 1.9.0 The emulator doesn’t contain ads, contact the service where you got the emulator from and tell them of your trouble since they are the ones responsible for adding the advertisements.
To block ads from appvalley, tweakbox and iEmulators you simple need to use an Adblock (like the one by futuremind) and block the following domains. This will block the ads they injected from loading, and should fix your crashing issues.
appnext.hs.llnwd.net cloudmobi.net mtrackqwe.com
Oof. I didn't realize these services inject ads into the applications they "resign". Sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing I can really do to remove the ad except for request that they remove our emulator (but some of our users rely on these services so such action will likely not happen).
I would recommend following the instruction of other users and installing an adblocker. Is there any way you could, for my reference, post a screenshot of the ads?
This is what the ads look like.
They are full screen and can be closed by waiting 5 seconds and then clicking the (x) at the top right corner. If touch anywhere but the (x), the ad will forcibly redirect you to the AppStore to download the advertised app.
@ElementalEnd where did you download the emulator from? I have no way of testing a fix for the game freezing, so I would like to speak with them.
@FrederickGeek8 I got it from iEmulators
I contacted iEmulators and they said they only redistribute applications. They believe they got it from AppValley or Tweakbox. I was unable to find it on AppValley but was able to find it on Tweakbox... Let's see if I can reach out to them.
Finally got a clean app without ads by using Xcode to build my own iNDS, wiki is great helpful.
I can tell you that iEmulators is also where i got mine and they definitely distribute the app with ads, currently fighting the battle and the adblcoking doesn't seem to work.

It's a bit of a hassle of a workaround, but if you disable cellular data on the app and turn off your wifi (there are jailbreaks that make the app think you're not on wifi if that's an option for you) the ads won't open
@tallavi85 I believe the same effect could be reached by just turning airplane mode on
