Buildstore Not Updated

I can’t progress past a part in the Ace Attorney Investigations game due to a longstanding iNDS issue where examining evidence doesn’t work in Ace Attorney games (I see there is already another open issue for this, and it’s been well known for a while). Normally this is fine because I just transfer the save to my computer and progress past the part there and transfer the save back.

However, the Dropbox sync is broken and doesn’t seem to upload my newer saves to Dropbox - only some random older ones for some reason. I’ve tried deleting the iNDS folder on Dropbox and resyncing but it doesn’t upload all of my saves: just the old ones which I don’t need anyway. On top of that, I can’t manually download my saves to PC because when I try to do it through iTunes, I get an error message saying something along the lines of “Battery could not be copied because an error occurred. A duplicate file name was specified.”

I can still add files to iNDS and I can save any other file to PC besides the Battery folder, but that folder just doesn’t work.

So now I am stuck in this situation and i can’t figure out a way to get my saves or Battery folder off of my phone and to my computer or Dropbox to progress past this part. Please let me know if there’s a way I can work around this.

What version of iNDS are you on? Release 1.7.2 (current version is 1.8.1) should have fixed Dropbox syncing problems that cause new saves to not be written. More information (current device, OS version, etc. is always useful).

I have 1.7. Glad to know it’s an easy fix - how do I update?

Editing to add context: My device is an iPhone 8 running iOS 11.4

I downloaded iNDS through the Buildstore, and it seems like the version there is 1.7

I've contacted Buildstore about this and hopefully, it should be updated soon. I believe their version was updated to 1.7 before anyone from iNDS Team got in contact with them. With a big holiday in the US coming up, I'm not sure how long it will be until it gets updated.

EDIT: For the time being I'm going to change the title of this issue until we can confirm its presence in more modern versions of iNDS.

I checked today and it looks like 1.8.1 is up on Buildstore. The description and website has not been updated yet, but hopefully, you should be able to download the new version.

Can we also update appdb so that it fixes the Electra issue

@AnonymousDeveloper13 I'm not familiar with the service, but at first glance, it appears to be a crowdsourced project, so you should be able to update the app yourself. If you're unable to, you're welcome to contact them and CC me on the email @ inds(at)nerd.net.
