1.7.17 asks for newest version of forge and doesn't read it

So I tried many times by now to make it work but I don't know what to do anymore. Last version of LLibrary worked just fine, but I need the newest one for F&A.

It says that it needs Forge 14.23.5.2772 or newer, and I have 14.23.5.2798. It says that I have 14.23.5.2769, which I don't, and I don't know what to do to make it work. I even uninstalled and installed the 2772 version hoping that would work, but it doesn't...

Have you updated your launch profile to target the latest version? :)

Well, I only have one version so I figured it's targeted by default, I got rid of any other version thinking that that causes the problem
